Building A Privacy Focused Culture

It has been said that in music the real magic happens in the spaces between the sound. Well, for me, magic happens in the spaces between the why, the how, and the privacy software products that bring it all together. More specifically, and most importantly, it’s the relationships with the people in those spaces, and how they all work with each other to get to a successful outcome that is the true magic.

So how did I end up obsessed with the business of digital privacy, why did I decide to start my own consultancy firm and what exactly do I hope to achieve?

In short, the business of data privacy compliance is in its infancy, and I realized as I was preparing for my CIPP/E (European) certification that it’s poised to boom outside of Europe as more and more US regulations come online.

As I built my knowledge base gaining industry certifications and formed my professional network it became clear to me that there were many industries that fall under the scope of a litany of regulations that don’t have even the most minimal attempt at compliance. It is this market I strive to serve.
